Flowstate is surfskate company with a belief and a philosophy at its heart, making performance surfskates, as ethically & eco-friendly as possible and at a truly affordable price.
The decks are hand pressed bamboo (because it’s eco-friendly), use vegetable-based inks, and are totally solvent free. Our trucks are made from 100% post-consumer waste aluminium.
Designed and built in Sussex, we believe in how movement and joy is the antidote to anxiety and depression, and so believe performance shouldn’t come at a premium, everything we do is affordable. Flowstate wasn’t created for profit, it was created to create performance skates and bring joy.
Everything we sell makes a contribution to the preservation and conservation of the South Downs National Park, helping to ensure it remains free for people to enjoy.

As a place to help anxiety, as a place of wonder, to study butterflies or just to fly a kite, the South Downs is never less than spectacular. You simply cannot spend a moment on the Downs and leave in a bad mood. It is my privilege to be able to play a small part in other’s happiness and in the preservation and conservation of the magical South Downs.
