Owned by the same family since 1904, Upper Parsonage Farm is part of a 1400 acre mixed traditional farm in the heart of the Meon Valley in the South Downs National Park. Predominantly arable they also have 400 sheep.

The farm started offering hospitality in 2004 and now have a popular small campsite, a shepherd’s hut and an individual self-catering room.
Close to Petersfield, with Butser Hill on their doorstep and the charming nearby villages of the Meon Valley, Upper Parsonage Farm has the perfect mix of getaway and country interest.
Sue Atkinson, who runs the farm with her husband Nick said:
“I have lived in the area for 40 years with my husband farmer Nick Atkinson. I was always passionate about the countryside and found I have grown very protective over our local spot here. We as a farm and individuals do as much as we can to maintain the flora and fauna in the area and would like to give something back to the South Downs Trust community. We know how much time and finance it takes to keep the countryside looking as it does. Not only are we supporting them but it is reciprocal in they support us to maintain the valley and South Downs National Park.”
