Jayasri brings over 30 years’ experience in governance, law and sustainability, working across the UK, Europe, India and Africa. A qualified lawyer and Chartered Governance professional, she has spent much of her career strengthening organisational stewardship, ethical culture and long-term decision-making.
During her 21 years at AstraZeneca, she held senior roles spanning law, corporate governance and sustainability, including leading the Group’s Annual Report and serving as Head of Sustainability for one of its largest subsidiaries. In that role she led a significant lake restoration project, reinforcing her belief in practical, nature-based solutions.
Jayasri now runs her own sustainability advisory practice, supporting corporates on governance, responsible growth and environmental and social risks and opportunities. She has a longstanding interest in nature recovery and community wellbeing.
