The Visitor Giving Partnership is a way of inviting visitors, guests and customers to put something back into the places they love to visit with a donation on their final bill.
One such contributing business is the Hydro Hotel in Eastbourne, located a just stone’s throw from the National Park.
Stephen Callis from the hotel’s management said:
We recognise the importance of England’s newest National Park and the natural beauty right on the doorstep of the Hydro Hotel. We wanted to give the opportunity for guests to donate as part of their stay with us.
The South Downs National Park is popular with guests who walk from the hotel and venture to Beachy Head, in particular, and other popular places to visit such as Birling Gap, Belle Tout Lighthouse and Cuckmere Haven.
The Hydro Hotel first opened in 1895, and has a long history of guests coming to enjoy the beautiful natural surroundings.
Its another example of how people, place and prosperity can all come together. A beautiful National Park helps attract visitors to the hotel, whose support of the program, and guest’s generosity in turn help maintain and even enhance the natural surroundings.
