BKC Restaurants have recently joined our Visitor Giving Partnership. The South Downs National Park is the nearest, most accessible National Park to London.

With restaurants in Marble Arch and Soho, BKC’s ‘roots lie in the culinary traditions of Awadh — where food was always thoughtful, seasonal, and shared. Today, we bring that ethos into the heart of London with a conscious commitment to reducing our carbon footprint and giving back to the land that feeds us.’

BKC’s Iconic 1kg biryanis are served in clay handis, handcrafted by local potters, not just as a nod to heritage, but as a low-waste, reusable alternative to plastic or foil.

Using carefully selected local suppliers for produce and dairy, BKC practise zero-waste cooking in kitchens and use biodegradable packaging to actively reduce their carbon footprint.

The Visitor Giving scheme adds a small, opt-out donation onto every cover. When added up over a year this can add up to make a real diffeerence; supporting the South Downs Trust’s mission to plant 100,000 trees in the South Downs, sow wildflower meadows to support pollinators and other important conservation work in the National Park.
