Woodfire Camping

Woodfire Camping's mission is to make people feel at home, outdoors.

These small and perfectly-formed gastro campsites, nestled in the heart of the South Downs, were inspired by agriturismi farm stays in Italy and French auberges and village festivals.

Quiet, peaceful and set in glorious countryside, the campsites have been embraced by new and experienced campers alike, who sit together in the evening sun at communal tables sharing delicious local food cooked over live fire while children play nearby.

With three stunning locations in the South Downs National Park to choose from, each offers their own individual charm, with pre-pitched glamping and BYO tents; food cooked over fire; hot showers, campfires and dark night skies.

Owners of Woodfire Camping, Stella Gurney and Mark Griffiths are delighted to be supporting the Visitor Giving Scheme,

‘our business is firmly rooted in the South Downs National Park and this gives us and our guests the opportunity to acknowledge and support its special qualities and beauty’.
